The Ascent to Nako | July 2015
I remember this as a contemplative stretch of our ride. I settled into my pace and comfort zone of riding. This did tend to put me in an isolated space of about a 1 mile of a ‘radial spot’ – sandwiched between the lead back and the PoshGoondas pack following me, with the Back-up truck sweeping up at the end. The unique and signature ‘Thumping’ of the Bullet engine, the crisp cold air seeping in through the helmet; a bright day and the rhythmically winding and twisting road.
A gamut of thoughts breezing through the head, while ensconced within Nature.
Humbled. Insignificance. Gratitude.
